Body - Mind
The program and exercises aim to strengthen contact with intuition and inner self, widen perception and help to establish relationship and dialogue with other person (this includes self-assertion and nonverbal communication). We discover the tricks of expression and body language. With time this knowledge will help achieve better results at work, gain better state of mind and establish better relationships with people. All these thanks to a fuller knowledge of own body, its needs and limitations.
Watch your body movement today, observe the way you express yourself, explore your body’s capabilities, rediscover yourself. The wisdom lies in experience, in action and in direct contact with reality. There’s no need to wait, think up or debate. When you start to experience, the answer comes immediately. Your body knows the answer. The beauty of this kind of work consists in a greater freedom of movement, lack of limitations and choice of direction... to remain true to yourself, be free and inspire other people.
For Whom?
- For those, who work intensively and need tools in order to unwind.
- For those, who look for better contact with their body and inner self.
- For those, who wish to bring back their naturalness and strength.
The purpose is
- To approach our bodies with more attention
- To bring breath to all parts of our bodies using movement and imagination techniques
- To learn to read the signals coming from our bodies’ postures and moves
- To pay attention to your daily routine activities and see how we walk, sit, get up, in order to take care of the comfort of our spines and joints.
Scope of work
Inner and outer space:
Body awareness– deepening your contact with your body
Partner awareness– we interact with another person, get to know each other’s boundaries and habits and go beyond what’s familiar. We learn to communicate with the partner, go away from thinking and start to feel.
Space awareness– we get in contact with the world around us. We learn to maintain a relation with it and to exchange energy in this relation.
Pelvic bone, hips, and chest– I pay special attention to these parts of the body. We combine breath with body and movement awareness.
Benefits
Deeper connection with your body, partner and entourage.
We become more sensitive to nonverbal communication and thanks to our senses we increase the scope of our experiences. With time you will learn to highlight your individual features and create your own, natural style. Your dance will be lighter and it will fill you with energy and joy.
What to bring along?
Loose, comfortable clothes, socks or barefoot. During the classes we will listen to varied music from around the world.
